About us

Mack’s Garage was founded in 2020 by Alex MacLeod. Alex grew up working on heavy equipment, and after 15 years of building and fixing everything from bucket trucks, cranes, lifts, paving equipment, dirt working equipment, etc… he jumped into the safety side of things and became a certified third party inspector. His knowledge of the heavy equipment world brought him into this new phase of his career, however, his customers were desperate for a knowledgeable and competent person to handle their repairs and planned maintenance needs. Alex soon recognized a strong need for a garage that specialized in heavy equipment and hydraulics to service the New England area. With the education of safety and mandated requirements at the forefront of his mind, Alex set out to open a one-of-a-kind garage that focuses on coupling top notch repairs with state and federal safety requirements. Mack’s Garage offers its customers a one-stop-shop for service, repairs, planned maintenance, accessories, and true third party inspections through its well-known and respected partner company, Cranes Aerial Truck Service, run by his wife, Jennifer MacLeod. Alex’s goal is to create lifelong relationships with his customers through providing them with honest evaluations, competitive pricing, and world class customer service. 

The garage is named for our dog, Mack, who is often available for visits in our office.
